We are painting a ’69 Ghia coupe. The car is pretty decent, but like most VW’s of this vintage and in the northeast, there is rust. It has been painted many times before, so the first job is to remove all the old paint, then cut out the rusty areas and repair with metal. We will do a solid job on this car, but the owner is not looking for a show quality restoration. We will work according to his program and budget, without cutting corners on the important things.
